Lyrics:

I Once Was Lost But Now I Am The Lowest

First breath, revolution. Again, again, again. Tenfold resistance, twelvefold growth. “Struggle on, struggle on…” Knife in heart, twice as long. I saw a flower make its way out of rock just a few miles back.
Just because you can’t see a way out of hell doesn’t mean it’s not there. I keep on circling, but that city hasn’t moved. I’ve washed a stranger’s feet. I’ve met a neighbor’s need. Yeah, I remember the garden, and I’m avoiding the tree, but the forest is falling, and it’s falling on me. I’m doing the best that I can. But is it enough? Or will I lose my head in the weeds? Knife in heart, tear it out. I once was lost…what about now? I’m searching and searching, the dawn is above me. I’m circling the city…does my mother still love me? The house I escaped is right down the street. He keeps its light on and on, and on it goes…Knife in heart, tear it out.

To the Fire I Say: Spread

Brand new vision. Share the good news. Twelve thousand wanderers singing the blues. And they are running in the streets…and they are looking for a sign. “But wait, I’m new here. It’s in my head I haven’t learned to speak. You told me that my ship couldn't sink with You in it...” Iceberg straight ahead! There’s something in the earth that has to reach the surface. New devils, same gospel. A new river goes nowhere if you block it. New devils, same gospel. Toeing the line…The church speaks through frequencies. The earth spits out a violent flood. It starts with me. It starts with me. It starts with me. It starts with me. They are running in the streets. They are looking for a sign. Remove the earth. Claw at the skin, go out there and meet them. Spread fire. Spread fire. Where are you when it matters? Speak! Same gospel, new devils.

The Wolves Wait Patiently, Part II: Deluge/Rest

Take my name. Burn my body. This is healing. Turn the key. Church bells, wedding day…this all seems so familiar. Full moon, high noon. The wolves still wait patiently. The bride and her groom, there are snakes in the pews. Behind them: A hooded figure. Outside, the light breaks. The veil lifts, the figure is gone. There is a world beyond this one, there is a Kingdom above the clouds. St. Peter, I think I’m ready. Mother, Father: Did you see it? Are you waiting for me up there? St. Peter, I think I’m ready. I saw an ocean part before me, a dim gas lantern on the floor...My God, the waves stood in reverence! Let all creation sing. Let all creation sing. These wolves will never stop hunting, but I can see them, and I can fight them. I pull the chord...Rip their teeth out one by one. Cut the tongue to shut it up. Mother, father, did you see it? Tear out its frantic heart. In an effort to see the end, the church braces and meets the wind. And the bell you start to hear, rings high up on the hill. I’m not afraid, the beginning is the grave. Be free! Last breath: Revelation!

...And The Gates Opened Up Before Me

I pray that you finish the race well.
